I’m so behind on posts…This is one was done weekends ago. We just happened to get our session in during the one hour that it stopped raining that day. As we pulled out of the park, it started pouring! Someone was watching over us that day!

Oh my goodness, had I know this place existed, I would have been regular! A friend recently told us about the Fairy Festival at the Heavenly Scent Herb Farm in Fenton, MI.

You captured real fairies!
I saw this quote a few days ago and can’t get it out of my head. It has to be the reason why I love to shoot in black and white. The photo is of my daughter, Grace, a few years ago. I took it with my first digital SLR camera and had no fancy editing programs to speak of. Even though the image is by no means perfect, there is something about it that melts my heart.
